Lead Photographer and Editor (big sis)
The “face” of MTG Photography and the gal that started it all. I have been doing photography professionally for about 4 years. Keeping my prices budget friendly but still providing high quality photos is hard to find and is the whole reason I started MTG Photography. You shouldn’t have to pick one or the other which you don’t with me.
I specialize in couples, weddings, maternity, and seniors sessions but will do any session requested of me. My goal as a photographer is to create a fun and comfortable photo experience for everyone resulting in the perfect images for you! My favorite part of photography is getting to capture those special moments the families will look back and cherish forever.
Assistant Photographer (little sis)
The hidden gem of MTG Photography. She is fairly new to photography but very good at what she does. Tessa works along side me primarily for weddings and events. She is there to capture those extra shots that often get missed and follows a shot list to keep her big sis on track. She also assists with mini shoots by helping set up and sending out messages, reminders, and answering questions while I’m shooting.
She does some sessions of her own occasionally. She specializes in couples, maternity, and individuals. Her goal is to make photoshoots organized and smooth. And her favorite part of photography is seeing the reaction of the clients when they get their photos back.
Paying attention to every detail is just apart who I am. I consider the picture to be perfect when it meets both of our standards.
Making each shoot unique to your needs/wants is important to me.
My clients are more than clients, they become family. Building relationships and getting to know each of you is a top priority. Because it's not just about the photos to us but it's about the people, memories, and moments in those photos.
-I got married to the love of my life, Bailey, on April 3rd, 2021. Yes, that's 4321.
-I don’t have any kiddos of my own yet but I do have 3 nieces (Minayah, Zayleigh, and Kaleah) and 3 nephews (Korbyn, Princeton, and Jaxton).
-I am a dog mom to three precious pups Willow, Gus, and Tillie.
-I’m a Kansas girl through and through. My family loves watching KU basketball & football as well as the Kansas City Chiefs.
—In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, doing Zumba, and taking photos of course!
-I graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College with a degree in liberal arts. There I sang in choir and in a vocal jazz ensemble called "The Standard" (check us out on YouTube).
-I have a huge heart for the elderly, children, and those with "dis"abliblties.
-I work as a CNA/HHA and I am currently attending NCCC to become an RN.
